Science Department
Northside High School is above the Muscogee County School District average for the Georgia High School Graduation Test, as well as above the State of Georgia average. Not only that, but we are the only Muscogee County School to have increased their scores on the Science Graduation Test every year.
Students must take three units of science in the State of Georgia for the high school diploma. At Northside as part of the school, we have an Engineering, Architecture, and Information Technology Magnet Academy. Those students in the program must have five units of science at graduation. The science courses taken by these students must include their choice of Advanced Placement Science (which counts as two of the five units for graduation).
