Due to policy adopted by the Muscogee County School District Board of Education, the following will be effective immediately:

(1) Any student coming out of a magnet program will, if not in the district for that magnet program/school, return to their home school the next semester. If a person comes out at December, they would return to the home school in January, for instance.

(2) Though seniors have been left at the magnet program school in the past, that will no longer be true if they are not in the normal attendance zone.

(3) Any student leaving a magnet program must go to their home school the next semester, no matter the grade, for any student leaving the program now or in the future.

This policy is not retroactive to those who have already exited a magnet program and been allowed to remain at the magnet program school. No further allowances will be granted by the school district for students to remain, however.
